T-Minus 24

These pages will provide updates on the progress of the Enculturating Environments field school. It will include posts from both staff and students.

At the moment we are twenty four hours away from the official start of the programme and David, Julie and I are busy preparing things for the arrival of the students. Today has been particularly enjoyable as we began moving equipment out of storage and onto site. This gave us an opportunity to once again appreciate the spectacular nature of the landscape we work within. On the drive to site we passed numerous different species of mammals and birds, with the most eye catching of all being a condor circling over head as we unloaded the trucks.

Even at this early stage we'd like to thank the Wildlands Conservancy, staff of the Wind Wolves preserve, UCLA (in particular Ran Boytner), Jack and Gale Grasse-Sprague and Taft College for their help and support.
